Guitar and Drum Trainer 2 scripts

This set of scripts is now available for download. Guitar Drum Trainer 2 is a free MP3 and wav audio player that was written specifically to help people to learn music by ear. Despite its name it works with any MP3 or wav file regardless of which instruments or vocals are recorded.

It allows you to make changes on the fly while the music is playing. You can change the pitch, slow down or speed up the music without changing the pitch, and set up a repeating loop. It has a multiband equalizer that is accessible with the scripts. It has play, stop, pause, fast forward, rewind, skip, volume adjust and balance adjust. It doesn't allow you to save modified music files.

In order to use this software, you will need to install the .Net framework if you don't already have it on your computer. This is a 23 MB package developed by Microsoft to make it possible to run software developed with the .Net programming languages. It is automatically included in the latest service pack of Windows XP, and will be included with future Microsoft operating systems. It will also run on Windos98 and Windows 2000. Download the file guitardrumtrainer_1.0.exe into any folder on your computer then click on the file to run the setup program. The setup program will allow you to install the scripts in any version of JAWS on your computer then the scripts will be automatically recompiled into the version of JAWS that you selected.
